ReikiAll: What are the most common energetic imbalances or blockages observed in pets and how can Reiki be used to deal with these issues in order to improve their well-being?
ANA PRADO: The most common cases are stressed and anxious pets. These imbalances are directly related to the energy center called brachial, scapular or key chakra. It is through this chakra that animals receive external influences from the tutor and the environment where they live. This imbalance manifests itself physically in the form of gastritis, skin problems such as allergies/dermatitis, lack of appetite, recurrent vomiting and/or diarrhoea, gastrointestinal problems such as colitis and irritable bowel syndrome, weak immunity and many others. There are already academic and scientific studies showing the direct influence of an owner’s stress on their pet – Stressed owner = stressed pet. Chronic stress and anxiety are considered the evils of the century among us humans, so it could not be any different for the animals that live with us.
Animal Reiki, through the vital energy of animals, restores and enhances their energy by balancing mind, body and spirit. This therapy, which is also applicable to humans, cares for the energy, behavior and emotions of our furry companions. Through Reiki, it is possible to know which parts of the body are being affected and the general condition of the chakras (energy centers of the body). The application of Reiki provides emotional, energetic and spiritual benefits, as well as pain relief, relaxation, resistance to diseases, minimization of the side effects of medications and chemotherapy, thus prolonging life with quality and vitality.
ReikiAll: Could you share a success story where Reiki made a significant difference in the lives of animals, demonstrating its effectiveness as a holistic healing practice?
ANA PRADO: For sure! There are many cases. There is the case of little Fouet, a dog who was terrified of riding in cars. His guardians had tried everything to make him feel safe inside the car, but nothing seemed to work. Only after the Reiki approach, which required a few sessions, were they successful. Today, Fouet remains calm and relaxed in the car. The relief this provided to everyone’s suffering was unique and special. Another case was that of Gregório, a dog who is epileptic. Since he was one year old, he suffered from severe seizures that caused him to spend days in hospital. I used Reiki and other therapies in which I am an expert for a few months. The crises became increasingly rare, until they disappeared completely 8 months ago. I would also like to mention the success story of a kitten named Tutti. She suffered a lot from skin problems, such as rashes and itching. Reiki helped her to have a calmer and more relaxed life and improved her immunity and absorption of nutrients in the intestine. Due to this, her dermatitis stopped and Tutti recovered completely and effectively.

ANA PRADO: I really like the ReikiAll approach! I realize that one of the biggest difficulties for beginner Animal Reiki practitioners is knowing the ideal application time. It is known that for Reiki to flow effectively, it is essential that Reiki healers are completely open, surrendered and trusting the flow of energy. ReikiAll: Quais são os desequilíbrios ou bloqueios energéticos mais comuns observados em animais de estimação e como o Reiki pode ser usado para abordar essas questões para o seu bem-estar?
ANA PRADO: Os atendimentos que mais tenho feito são os casos de pets estressados e ansiosos. Estes desequilíbrios se relacionam diretamente com o centro energético chamado chakra braquial, escapular ou chakra chave. É através deste chakra que o animal recebe as influências externas do tutor e do ambiente em que ele vive. E este desequilíbrio se manifesta no físico em forma de gastrite, problemas de pele como as alergias/dermatites, falta de apetite, vômitos e diarreia recorrentes não necessariamente ambos juntos, problemas gastrointestinais como colite e síndrome do intestino irritável, baixa imunidade e muitos outros. Já há estudos acadêmicos e científicos mostrando a influencia direta do estresse do tutor em seu animalzinho – Tutor estressado = pet estressado. Não é a toa que o mal do século entre nós, humanos, está sendo o estresse e a ansiedade crônicas. E isso não poderia ser diferente em relação aos nossos animais que convivem conosco.

ANA PRADO: Com certeza, tenho vários casos. Há o caso do cachorrinho Fouet que tinha pânico de andar de carro. Os seus tutores tentaram de tudo para que ele se sentisse seguro dentro do carro. Assim, fiz uma abordagem como o Reiki que demandou algumas sessões e o sucesso foi absoluto. Hoje, Fouet passeia tranquilo e relaxado dentro do carro. O alívio que isso proporcionou ao sofrimento de todos foi único e especial. Um outro caso foi do cachorrinho Gregório que é epilético. Desde um ano de idade ele sofria com crises de convulsões fortíssimas que ele passava dias internado. Fiz uma abordagem com o Reiki e outras terapias as quais sou especialista. O tratamento foi de alguns meses em que as crises foram se espaçando entre uma e outra até que, graças a Deus há 8 meses neste mês de outubro de 2023, Gregório não apresentou mais nenhuma crise. Cito mais um caso de sucesso de uma gatinha, ela se chama Tutti. Esta gatinha sofria muito com problemas de pele, coceiras e pruridos. O Reiki a ajudou a ter uma vida mais tranquila e relaxada, melhorou sua imunidade e a absorção de nutrientes pelo intestino, causando simplesmente a recuperação total e efetiva cessando a dermatite.

Para isso a posição de mãos é a técnica em que eles mais recorrem.
